All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available.



Health: Blackie has been neutered and microchipped. He is current on his DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has also had a dental.  He has been wormed, flea treated, and tested negative for heartworm.

History: Blackie comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state.

Notes from Blackie's Foster Home:

Blackie is a sweet boy looking for a family with whom he can be happy and secure. He's smart, affectionate and playful.  He loves people and once he gets to know you, he will be your best friend.  Blackie is a happy boy who loves to take long walks, snuggle, chew on appropriate chew toys, and race around being silly.   He is crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night.  He will quietly stay in his crate while you are not home. He's potty trained on a schedule-walks every 4 to 5 hours. He's working on basic obedience, including sit, wait and not jumping up to greet people.  Blackie greets other dogs he meets on walks in a friendly manner.   Overall, Blackie is a beautiful, happy pup that we enjoy having around.  He deserves a loving forever home of his own.  I have not observed Blackie interact fully with other dogs.  I have not observed him with children or cats.

   

Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
